Corona del Mar

In college I took a trip to the Corona del Mar tide pools with my Marine Bio class.  I'm pretty easily amused, so I was completely fascinating by the sea animals that we saw; urchins, anemones, star fish...  I'd been wanting to go back for a while so last week I grabbed a friend , and we headed down to the bluffs. (This might be a good time to say "Thanks" to my friends who appease me and my whims! I love you guys! ) As we were walking down to the beach we saw a school of dolphins in the water which was definitely the highlight of the morning. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me to check the tide before we went, and it was pretty high, so we didn't see many creatures. You can never go wrong spending time by the ocean, so even though  I didn't get to stick my finger in any anemones,  it was really enjoyable morning.
